Ebonie L. Byndon is a multidisciplinary professional whose work bridges law, social work, and education, with a focused commitment to family and juvenile justice. A graduate of Michigan State University College of Law, she brings over six years of experience as a social worker, where she dedicated herself to advocating for children and families.
Currently, Ebonie serves as a Pretrial Service Specialist in Detroit and conducts forensic interviews through The Guidance Center. She will also begin teaching as an Adjunct Professor at Wayne State University’s School of Social Work. In addition, she volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (C.A.S.A.) in Wayne County, working closely with children in foster care and supporting family reunification efforts.
Driven by both professional expertise and personal mission, Ebonie aspires to launch a nonprofit transitional living program for young mothers ages 18–24, providing comprehensive support across educational, legal, medical, social, and spiritual domains.
