I grew up in a neighborhood called Dorchester in Boston. What I enjoy most about being a father is spending quality time with my kids.

I am most proud of myself professionally because I have overcome most of the obstacles that life has thrown at me, and I maintained the courage to keep going even when everything seemed lost. Also, I am proud of my son because of his advancement in school and learning. He is a blessing to me because he had a complicated birth, but he overcame the complication. I am so grateful to him for that.
If I could invite one person to dinner with my family, it would be President Barack Obama. I want to pick his brain. There are so many things I would like to get his perspective on, such as policy changes that negatively impact fathers. Us dads need help, and I would love to learn about his journey as a man of color, father, and President. When I am not at Fathers’ UpLift, I am looking into investment opportunities.
