Development Associate

Fathers’ UpLift (FUL). seeks a development associate to become an integral part of our energetic and caring team.

Position: Development Associate

Full-Time, Remote/Hybrid Work optional
Immediate Report: Director of Development
Job Supervision Duty: None

About Us

Fathers’ UpLift is a rapidly growing nonprofit leading innovative forays into men’s mental health, family health, and racial justice. The organization has grown from annual revenues of <$200,000 in 2017 to expected revenues of $2.9M in 2022. FUL operates the country’s first mental health and substance abuse treatment facility focused on fathers and families, helping fathers become and remain emotionally stable for their children. Utilizing peer coaching, father-child therapy, training, youth programs, and support for incarcerated and recently released fathers, FUL honors and rehabilitates the relationship between fathers and their children, families, and communities.

Fathers’ UpLift’s services are especially catered to men of color, who have often been overlooked and/or written off both from the perspective of child-engagement and mental health. In their outpatient clinic, fathers and family members receive mental health services from clinicians trained in trauma who reflect the population being served. Outside of the clinic, Fathers’ UpLift partners with community centers, substance abuse programs, outside clinicians, and other agencies with a systems-change approach, working to promulgate our holistic approach to helping fathers rebuild their lives and their relationship with their families.
