There are fathers across this country who want to show up. They want to be present. They want to reconnect. They want to be better for their children than what they may have experienced themselves. But too often, they don’t know where to go.
Not because resources don’t exist—but because those resources are scattered, disconnected, and difficult to find. And when a father is already navigating stress, trauma, or instability, the absence of a clear pathway can feel like a closed door.
That’s where the problem begins. And that’s exactly why we’re building the National Fatherhood Directory.
Why This Matters
Across the United States, there are incredible organizations doing life-changing work with fathers—supporting mental health, strengthening families, navigating child welfare systems, addressing reentry, and helping men rebuild relationships with their children. But there is no single place where this work lives.
No centralized hub.
No shared visibility.
No unified access point.
So fathers search—and come up empty. Or worse, they stop searching altogether. No father should have to suffer in silence simply because he doesn’t know where to turn.
What We’re Building
The National Fatherhood Directory is our commitment to changing that reality. We are building a living, growing resource that connects fathers—and those who support them—to organizations across the country that are doing this work every day.
Our starting goal is simple, but powerful: At least one fatherhood-serving organization represented in every state. This is the foundation. Not the finish line—but the beginning of something much bigger.

More Than a Directory
This is not just a list. It is a national access point for reconnection. A father in crisis shouldn’t have to navigate ten different systems to find help. A mother or caregiver shouldn’t have to guess where to refer the father of her child. A provider shouldn’t have to reinvent the wheel to find aligned partners.
This directory changes that. It creates:
- Visibility for organizations doing critical work
- Access for fathers who need support
- Connection across systems that have historically operated in silos
Why This Is Personal
At Fathers’ UpLift, we have spent years working directly with fathers navigating disconnection—from their children, from systems, and often from themselves. We’ve seen what happens when a father finds the right support. And we’ve seen what happens when he doesn’t. The difference is not motivation. The difference is access.
The Goal: A Foundation for Something Bigger
Getting to all 50 states is just the start. This directory is the groundwork for:
- A national referral network
- Stronger cross-state collaboration
- A more coordinated father-centered system of care
It is about building infrastructure where none currently exists.
How You Can Help
We cannot do this alone.
If you know an organization—big or small—that serves fathers in any capacity, we want them included. Because somewhere, right now, there is a father looking for help. And the only thing standing between him and support might be whether or not we’ve made that connection visible.
Share the form to sign up to be listed on our directory [here].

It is free and open to any organization doing work with dads—including ministries within religious institutions. If you are serving fathers in any way, there is a place for you in this directory. Because this is bigger than any one organization.
We are building a resource for fathers everywhere—and we want everyone who is willing to be part of the solution to be visible, accessible, and connected.
