Fathers’ Day Every Day Ep. 12 | Father of the Day – Marv Neal

Welcome to Father’s Day every day, a podcast from Charles Daniels and Father’s Uplift. Father’s Day Every Day is a campaign that celebrates healthy fatherhood day by day. Each day we will feature a dad who we appreciate as an embodiment of healthy fatherhood. The featured father will share lessons about fatherhood, as well as advice and tips about what being a great dad means to them. Our goal is to promote a norm where fathers and mothers receive unilateral praise for the incredible work they do every day.

Today’s Father: Marv Neal

Today’s Father of The Day is Mr. Marv Neal. Marv is the father of 8 (5 girls and 3 boys). He’s also the founder of 365Dad, an organization that empowers fathers to be positive influences in the lives of their children through service, and a weekly radio show. If you want to know anything about fathering, Marv has the answers. To Marv, a lot of people take fatherhood lightly.

“Whether a man is able to contribute financially to the upbringing of a child or not, as long as he is there in a positive manner, that’s what’s important; being there for the socio-emotional aspects of the child.”

To learn more about Marv’s views on fatherhood, listen to the whole podcast in the Anchor player above.
