Fathers’ Day Every Day Ep. 4 | Father of the Day – Larry Pirone

Welcome to Father’s Day Every Day, a podcast from Charles Daniels and Father’s Uplift. Father’s Day Every Day is a campaign that celebrates healthy fatherhood day by day. Each day we will feature a dad who we appreciate as an embodiment of healthy fatherhood. The featured father will share lessons about fatherhood, as well as advice and tips about what being a great dad means to them. Our goal is to promote a norm where fathers and mothers receive unilateral praise for the incredible work they do every day.

Father of The Day: Larry Pirone

Larry is a father to two boys: six-year-old Eli, and Markel, who will turn one this coming August. Larry believes that patience, understanding, love, and care form the foundation for healthy fatherhood. In Larry’s experience, no one can be ready to become a father, before they jump into the role. He sees fatherhood as a natural part of growth, where men begin to see the world as about more than just themselves.

“Relationships are important in general as well. With the child’s mother, its easy to fight fire with fire, but being there, and showing that you care, being reliable, it opens doors”.

To learn more about Larry’s views on fatherhood, listen to the whole podcast in the Anchor player above.
