Joined Fathers’ UpLift: 2021

Responsibilities: Ashley supports incarcerated men and men with a history of incarceration in successfully transitioning back into the community and everyday life. She offers counseling and treatment planning services as indicated.

Role: As the Director of Coaching & Re-Entry Services, Ashley plays a critical role in developing and maintaining relationships with clients both before and after their release, ensuring they receive the support needed for successful reintegration.

Staff Narrative:

Ashley Palacios is a Licensed Social Worker who joined Fathers’ UpLift in 2021. She is dedicated to supporting incarcerated men and those with a history of incarceration as they transition back into the community and everyday life. Her unique position allows her to develop relationships with clients prior to their release, providing continuous support that she values deeply.

Ashley has extensive experience working with clients battling Substance Use Disorders and Homelessness. Her educational background includes a Master’s of Social Work degree, with a Certificate in Immigrant and Refugee Studies from Boston College, and a Bachelor’s of Science degree, with a Minor in Spanish from Hampton University.

Before joining Fathers’ UpLift, Ashley worked in correctional settings where she rarely received updates on how her clients adapted to the community post-release. At Fathers’ UpLift, she appreciates being involved on both sides of the spectrum, providing continuous support to her clients and witnessing their progress firsthand.

Ashley’s biggest career accomplishment is finding an area she is truly passionate about and securing opportunities that help her continue to develop personally and professionally. She takes great pride in her work and the impact she has on her clients’ lives.

Why Fathers’ UpLift? Ashley values the opportunity to provide continuous support to her clients, helping them successfully reintegrate into the community and thrive.

If I could invite anyone to dinner, it would be: Tiffany Haddish, because we love to laugh, and I know she would have us cracking up!

When she’s not at Fathers’ UpLift, Ashley enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, and indulging in her love for comedy and laughter.

Stay up to date with FUL news and impact.
