Ashley’s Narrative: “Something unique about my position that I love is that we have the ability to begin developing relationships with our clients prior to release. I have worked in correctional settings in the past and we rarely received updates on how our clients adapt to the community. With Fathers’ UpLift, I get to be on both sides of the spectrum and I’m truly appreciative of this. I also have extensive experience working with clients battling Substance Use Disorders and Homelessness. My educational background includes a Master’s of Social Work degree, with a Certificate in Immigrant and Refugee Studies from Boston College, and a Bachelor’s of Science degree, with a Minor in Spanish from Hampton University. I’d say my biggest career accomplishment has been finding an area that I’m truly passionate about and landing opportunities that help me to continue to develop personally and professionally.”
