Staff Narrative:

Brett Hannigan, born in Boston, MA, and raised in Quincy, MA, has a deep connection to his hometown and the communities within it. His journey has been shaped by his service in the Army and his experience working in in-patient recovery medicine, where he developed a passion for helping others overcome challenges and improve their lives.

Brett joined Fathers’ UpLift because he values the opportunity to work with individuals who share similar life experiences. He finds great satisfaction in being able to connect with people from his own background, helping them navigate their paths toward betterment while also learning from them in return. This unique dynamic is what keeps Brett committed to the mission of Fathers’ UpLift.

Why Fathers’ UpLift? Brett is dedicated to the organization’s vision of fostering personal and community growth, and he feels privileged to contribute to such meaningful work.

If I could invite anyone to dinner, it would be: My grandfather, who inspired me to join the Army and taught me invaluable lessons of kindness and patience. His influence continues to guide me, and I hope to pass on the same love and wisdom to my own son.

When Brett isn’t working at Fathers’ UpLift, he enjoys spending time with his family, especially raising his two daughters. He also has a passion for watching sports and traveling.
