Jose B. Honore

Youth Enrichment Coach

About: Jose B. Honore, Youth and Adult Coach – joined Fathers’ UpLift in 2023. As a Youth and Adult Coach, Jose provides guidance, support, and mentorship to help individuals, both young and older, develop life skills, set and achieve personal goals, and improve overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-on-one coaching and mentorship to youth and adults.
  • Facilitating workshops and group sessions aimed at skill-building and personal development.
  • Supporting clients in setting and achieving goals to improve their mental, emotional, and physical health.

Staff Narrative:
Jose B. Honore began her journey with Fathers’ UpLift in 2023, bringing her passion for helping others and her deep connection to the community. Originally from Haiti and raised in Boston, Jose has always been committed to empowering those around her. She holds a degree from UMass Boston, where her experiences further fueled her desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

Before joining Fathers’ UpLift, Jose worked in educational settings and within inpatient therapy environments, where she developed a strong foundation in supporting both youth and adults. Her career has been shaped by her dedication to providing spaces where individuals can feel seen, heard, and supported.

What makes Fathers’ UpLift special for Jose is the opportunity to work in a place that serves a community that looks like her. She is proud to be part of an environment that offers a safe space for men, especially when the world often doesn’t.

Jose’s commitment to personal growth and community empowerment is what drives her daily. Her approach is rooted in the belief that everyone has the potential to overcome challenges and thrive with the right guidance and support.

Jose is drawn to Fathers’ UpLift because it represents a space where men, particularly those from marginalized backgrounds, can find support, community, and a sense of belonging. It’s a place where she can give back to the community that raised her, offering mentorship and support to the next generation.
