  • Keila Wolfe on LinkedIn

Keila Wolfe is a committed and compassionate advocate for fathers and families, driven by her personal experiences and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized communities. Currently pursuing her studies in counseling at Bethune-Cookman University, Keila is passionate about supporting fathers who have encountered life’s difficulties and helping them navigate their paths forward with resilience and hope.

Inspired by her professor and the mission of Fathers’ UpLift, Keila recognizes the significance of reuniting fathers with their children after setbacks, believing firmly that everyone deserves a second chance. Her role in the United States Therapist Recruitment Fellowship aligns with her vision of making a tangible impact in her community by encouraging fathers to see their worth and potential.

As a mother of two sons, Keila has witnessed firsthand the obstacles that young Black men face and is dedicated to uplifting them through her work. Her empathy and understanding, combined with her personal journey, position her as a relatable and effective therapist who aims to foster a sense of importance and value in every individual she serves.

Keila’s commitment to creating a lasting impact is rooted in her belief that it is never too late to achieve one’s goals. She strives to offer compassion and understanding to those in need, and hopes that her words and actions provide inspiration and strength for individuals struggling with emotional challenges.

Her journey into therapy was further fueled by her experiences with her son, who was diagnosed with schizophrenia at a young age. This challenging chapter in her life has strengthened her resolve to help others navigate their mental health struggles, ensuring they know they are not alone.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Keila actively participates in her sorority’s community initiatives, engaging in food and voting drives and mentoring programs. Her dedication to volunteerism reflects her belief in giving back and supporting those around her.

With exceptional listening skills and an understanding nature, Keila Wolfe is poised to become a compassionate and effective therapist. Her steadfast commitment to empowering individuals and families underscores her role as a devoted advocate for mental health and well-being within her community. Keila’s passion for her work and her relentless pursuit of positive change positions her as a valuable asset in the therapeutic landscape.
