Therapeutic Mentor

Joined Fathers’ UpLift: 2026

Responsibilities: Kendar works directly with youth to build social, emotional, and life skills that support healthy development and long-term success. He provides individualized mentoring, positive role modeling, and community-based support to help participants achieve personal, educational, and career goals.

Role: As a Therapeutic Mentor, Kendar plays a critical role in helping young people navigate challenges, strengthen resilience, and develop the skills needed to thrive. Through meaningful relationships and hands-on support, he helps youth build confidence, make positive decisions, and reach their full potential.

Kendar Brite, a Boston native, brings a deep commitment to youth development, workforce readiness, and community empowerment to his role as a Therapeutic Mentor at Fathers’ UpLift. He attended Quincy College and the University of Massachusetts, where he studied Human Services with a focus on workforce development, counseling, community engagement, and organizational leadership.

Since joining Fathers’ UpLift in 2026, Kendar has worked directly with youth to strengthen social, emotional, and life skills that support personal growth and long-term success. Through individualized mentoring, positive role modeling, and community-based support, he helps young people navigate challenges, build confidence, and achieve their goals.

Prior to joining Fathers’ UpLift, Kendar built an extensive career in workforce development, youth employment programming, career coaching, and community outreach. His work has connected youth and young adults to educational, internship, and employment opportunities while fostering meaningful partnerships with schools, employers, and community organizations throughout the Greater Boston area.

Among his professional accomplishments, Kendar received the Outstanding Mentorship Award from Vital Village and has successfully developed strategic partnerships that expanded opportunities for youth and young adults across Boston. His passion for mentorship and community engagement continues to guide his work today.
