Oluwatosin Folarin

2023 USTR Alumn | MH Counseling, Austin Peay State University

Oluwatosin Folarin is a dedicated therapist at Advocates in Massachusetts, holding a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Austin Peay State University, Tennessee. Originally from Nigeria, she offers a unique perspective in her work with youth and families.

Oluwatosin employs evidence-based practices to promote adaptive behaviors and positive change. She has extensive experience supporting youth facing challenges such as runaway behavior, suicidal ideation, ADHD, and non-suicidal self-injury. Her compassionate, client-centered approach involves providing psychosocial support, psycho-education, and skills-building activities within a safe, non-judgmental space.

A strong advocate for mental health awareness, Oluwatosin is actively involved in community outreach programs aimed at reducing stigma and fostering understanding. With a commitment to staying current with the latest therapeutic approaches, she collaborates with other professionals to ensure high-quality care for her clients.
